Stranger Things is an American science fiction horror web television series
created by Matt and Ross Duffer, produced by Camp Hero Productions and Laps
Entertainment for the streaming platform Netflix.
Set in the eighties in the fictional town of Hawkins, in Indiana, and a
part of an alternate dimension called Upside Down, the story begins with
the mysterious disappearance of a boy and the appearance of a shaved head
girl with psychic powers whom escaped from a secret lab called the Hawkins
National Laboratory. Nearly all of the events occurring during the story
are closely related to the Upside Down, an obscure alternate dimension
parallel to our world, populated by monstrous creatures. MerchandisingPlaza
